About Kerry Smith

Kerry's son was diagnosed with JdVS in 2020 after taking part in the 100,000 Genomes Project because of difficulties present since birth. Finding the foundation after diagnosis brought her and her family valuable support.

Living in the United Kingdom, Kerry understands that services and systems can differ from those in the United States. She is committed to strengthening support and awareness for families in the UK.

Kerry has degrees in Psychology and Health and Social Work, and has trained as a primary-school teacher. Her career has centered on children with disabilities across a range of settings and services.
